5 Spring Activities You Can Enjoy Outside on the Knee Scooter

Posted by Brooke Williams

knee_scooter_outside_outdoorsWhen you injured yourself during the winter, recovery didn’t seem so bad. After all, it was cold and you wanted to stay warm inside anyway, right? But now that spring is here, there are so many things you want to do outside that you can hardly stand holding yourself back. The good news is that if you rent or buy a Knee Scooter, you no longer have to. Here are just a few of the spring activities you can enjoy with the help of a Knee Scooter.

Activitiy #1: Walks Around Your Neighborhood

When spring hits, there’s nothing more you want to do than get out and enjoy the fresh air. Sure, you could station yourself in your driveway and watch the day go by, but it’s nice to get up and get moving too. With the Knee Walker supporting you, you will tire much less easily. Taking a walk around the block will be easy and you will feel better when you get back.

Activity #2: Outside Games With Your Kids

Your kids have likely been cooped up with cabin fever for way too long as well. When the nice weather hits, they want to get outside and play as much as possible. If you were on crutches, probably the best you could do would be to watch from the sidelines. But on the Knee Scooter, you can play a lot of those games with them. You’ll be unbeatable playing tag. You can hide with the best of them if they choose hide and go seek. And you can even make your way through a baseball game in the back yard. You might even want to suggest dodge ball because who will really hit the person with the injury, right?

Activity #3: Garden Planning

Once spring arrives, your thoughts roam to the garden you want to plant. Gardening takes a lot of work and there’s a lot to do before the seeds ever get planted. If you were on crutches, there’s no way you’d want to try to navigate the gardening store, reading the seed packets and planning out what you want to put in your garden. But on the Knee Scooter, you can spend hours going up and down the aisles, finding everything you want without tiring yourself out.

Activity #4: Amusement Park or Zoo Outings

As soon as the sun is out to stay, your kids begin to beg for a weekend trip to the local zoo or amusement park. On crutches, there’s no way you’d be able to do anything other than maybe drop them off at the door with friends. But with the Knee Scooter, you can keep up with them and enjoy the beautiful weather as well. You will want to be careful to still get the rest you need, but with benches all over, you can make a day of it and enjoy time with your kids.

Activity #5: You Choose!

Crutches are hard and limiting, but the Knee Scooter allows you to choose what you want to do and when you want to do it. The Knee Scooter opens up a whole new world of possibilities in the spring. You don’t have to worry about getting sore or tired when you have the Knee Scooter supporting you. You choose the activity, plan it ahead of time, and the sky’s the limit in terms of what you can enjoy this spring.
