1. Keep Weight Off Your Healing Ankle
The most important thing you can do for your recovery process is to keep your weight off your injured ankle. 9. Stay Active
Just because you have had surgery does not mean you should sit on the couch all day everyday. Keep your mind active with books and puzzles and get up and move around every hour or so. 10. Follow Orders
Take any orders your doctor has given you into account and follow them as closely as possible. They know your situation better than anyone and want to see you heal quickly. They don't want you to be a permanent patient
